Dstv Premiership side Richards Bay have parted ways with former Orlando Pirates defender ahead of the new season.

Several clubs in the dstv premiership have started with preparations for the upcoming season and some of them have already signed a couple of players and have also parted ways with some of their players as well.

The Kwazulu Natal side, Richards Bay is among of the clubs that are gearing up for the upcoming season as the club is trimming down their squad size going to the new season.

The club have parted ways with former Pirates man, Ntsikelelo Nyauza who spent one season with the club.

The veteran defender joined the kwazulu-natal side at the beginning of last season after ending a seven-year stint with the Buccaneers.

The 33 year-old was among of the key players for Richards Bay last season and his exit comes as a huge surprise from the club after making a total of 22 appearances last season which was his debut season with the club.

The veteran defender managed to score a solitary goal for the club and it was also their debut season in the dstv premiership after the club was promoted to the top flight last season.

The club will also be under a new technical team as of next season after parting ways with their head coach as well as two assistant coaches.

Since then they have appointed Kaitano Tembo as their new head coach who will be looking to keep the club in the top flight after they survived relegation last season.

A source close to the club revealed that Richards Bay are preparing to sign three players from Umsinga United and an announcement will be made soon.

The Natal RichBoys will be looking to at least finish in the top eight next season which will be their second season in the dstv Premiership.
