A Look At Kama Billiat’s Record On League Games Since Joining Amakhosi

Kaizer Chiefs FC got thinking after Kama Billiat put up a good show at Chloorkop side, Mamelodi sundowns in 2015/16 season. At that particular time, Amakhosi were struggling to win games and needed an attacking midfielder of Billiat’s class.

The former Sundowns winger clinched the SA Premiership Footballer of the Season, Players Player of the Season and midfielder of the season. With Downs’ league title win in the same year, Kama scored 12 goals and 20 assists.

The Glamour Boys managed to pursue and win Billiat’s signature whose offer he accepted with open hands, automatically he became one of the highest paid players in South African football and the Southern Africa region.

Now let’s take a look at Kama Billiat’s record on the field of play since he joined Naturena, starting with 2022/23 season.

2022/23 Season

Last season Billiat played 10 league matches and recorded nil on the score board with 4 assists.

2021/22 Season

Billiat played 27 league matches and scored 8 goals with 8 assists.

2020/21 Season

With 13 league matches he played, Kama managed to score 1 goal and 4 assists.

2019/20 Season

Not much different from the above season. He appeared 14 times in the league matches, scored 1 goal and 1 assist.

2018/19 Season

Kama made 26 appearances in the league matches, scored 5 goals and 5 assists.

Judging from the numerical data reflected on each season, only on two seasons, 2018/19 and 2021/22 seasons, Kama Billiat indicated notable conversion rates.

Otherwise his overall perfomance in terms of delivery in the field of play says a lot about Billiat’s capabilities.

As a football fanatic, does Billiat still have the qualities needed by Kaizer Chiefs FC to turn around the club? In order for Amakhosi to drive on winning tracks, they should utilise players who’re hungry for success.
