Boity Jumps Into AKA’s ‘Mbuzi’ Remix

The presenter-turned-rapper has returned with a bang as she drops another remix. This time around, she pays tribute to South African artists who have fallen. Including AKA, Riky Rick and Costa Titch.

She took to instagram earlier today to share her new ‘Mbuzi’ remix, originally by the late AKA. In the track, she addresses, amongst other things, the sad passing of South African artists and the general state of the nation.

The country took a rather painful blow when rapper AKA was declared dead earlier in February when he was gunned down by unknown gunmen. Although he left his fans with a hit album, a lot of his fans are still in disbelief and heartbroken.

“First of all, RIP to Supa Mega. Who would have thought a rapper of his stature will be taking a bullet through his head? And that sh*t came after Ricky Rick and after that we lost uCosta Titch,” Boity’s bars start of high, and end on an even higher note.

When she initially announced her return in the music industry, nobody imagined it would be with a bang. She has left fans jaw dropped and impressed by her freestyle bars. Some went as far as regarding her as the best female rapper in the game. “You’re honestly the best in the game,” said Bradley Ndlovu on instagram.

“You’re mad at A-listers when the problem is clearly the system?” Boity also came for the government in office, putting in question the government’s ability to create jobs, and the issue of businesses failing as well the high repo rate that’s crippling a lot of people in its wake.
