When Goodman Mosele made the decision to join Orlando Pirates, his fans were happy that he would eventually play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
But Mosele has been missing in action and his fans are worried about his sudden disappearance from the Orlando Pirates squad.
Mosele’s agent Paul Mitchell has provided an update on his client, who has been missing from the squad.
In fact, he has been absent from the Pirates Matchday squad for 11 consecutive matches and he was nowhere to be seen in the Nedbank Cup final.
The Bucaneers defeated Sekhukhune United in that final to claim a famous double cup victory.
“He had an injury, I think it was in the derby (against Chiefs). He has taken some time to come back and obviously you know you’ve got to fight for your place,” Mitchell said.
This would automatically mean that he is out on the sidelines due to the injury.
It would put to bed many questions about his whereabouts and sudden disappearance from the Bucs squad.
“Pirates have been doing very well and it’s not always easy to just go (back) straight in. But look, I’m confident in Goodman he will get a good pre-season into his legs and start the season where he left off before,” he said.
Mitchel added that they were closely monitoring his progress and he does not have a time frame as to when he will be available for selection.
With the off season upon us, could the Bucaneers added him to their transfer list? That is yet to be seen.
