‘You Can Tell He’s An RET Force, He Knows Power’ ANC Cde On King Misuzulu

ANC comrade in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province, Nathi Sithole has argued that king Misuzulu KaZwelithini has a fighting spirit like that of RET forces. He said he will not be bullied around like anyone else.

Nathi Sithole’s utterances comes after the traditional prime minister of the Zulu monarch, Mangosuthu Buthelezi slammed the king in public saying he is showing no interest of protecting the Ingonyama Trust land.

This left many people appalled over the speech made by Buthelezi. Nathi Sithole said this is a clear attack on the king, and must never be tolerated. He said all those who want to see the king fully utilising his power, must protect him.

“You can tell that King Misuzulu is a true RET force, he knows power. That Buthelezi was not ready for him. Whether he is wrong or right is another issue, at least he is going to account for his own decisions,” said Sithole.

The ANC comrade adds that King Misuzulu KaZwelithini lost his parents over this throne, and no one must tell him what to do as this is his legacy.

Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi had a meeting on Friday with the chiefs asking them about what he is supposed to do. The meeting is said to have ended with the chiefs affirming support to Buthelezi and insisted that he should not leave his traditional prime minister role.

They are also said to have rejected the new Ingonyama Trust board which was recently appointed by King Misuzulu KaZwelithini. This shows that the centre is not holding within the Zulu kingdom, and things cannot continue in that manner.

Nathi Sithole said Mangosuthu Buthelezi must be dragged to the Zulu traditional court over his utterances towards the king.

“Buthelezi must be dragged to our traditional court and be charged for undermining the king, calling the chiefs and talking bad in public like that is unacceptable. That is a foreign tendency, the late King Misuzulu distanced himself from him long time ago,” said Nathi Sithole.
