2015 was his breakthrough year after the release of “Amani.” 2010’s Isina Muva, Sjava’s debut album, was an eclectic blend of afrobeat, hip-hop, and contemporary R&B. His second studio album, Umqhele, was released in 2018 to critical acclaim.
