A guy was seen driving a toy car (hand made) that many people loved when growing up. The toy car has been loved a lot, but recently, it may not have been what children love the most. There are other toys being made.

They also love the Xbox or PlayStation. Technology has become part of what they love to play with. Any person who is born after 1994 is considered to have been born after technology.

Hence, you will get to see a lot of them being used to technology and being good around it. As for the guy and lady on the streets, they surprised many people by playing one of the oldest games, which may also reveal their age. Or if they had a chance to play that way. They were on the streets and were also aware that they were getting a lot of attention from people.

Surely you have some of those games you used to play when you were young, and some of them are still being played even today. But it’s good to go back in time, just as you are doing it with music. People have special memories, and some of them may not be good to go through because they are painful. Some of them are brought about by music.

“Obesity was never an issue as these games, carried down the generations, ensured children were active throughout the day. Today, the department of sport and recreation has managed to preserve these games in the form of the Indigenous Games Festival which is held every September, to celebrate Heritage Month.”

“Mickey Modisane, chief director of communications at the department, says that indigenous games are defined as physical and character-building activities that originate in various communities of South Africa. They are cultural play activities that are distinct to each culture in SA.”

“More than being fun, they build on teamwork and bring people together. Each game has specific skills and rules aimed at promoting certain African values. Aside from the physical prowess, it builds communication, cognitive, and strategising skills.”
