RIP: Nolukhanyo was shot and killed at the back of a police van, here is what happened

The South African Police Service (SAPS) members are currently investigating a case of murder, this comes after Nolukhanyo Nkosiyane was shot and killed by a suspect at the back of a police van in Kraaifontein.

According to the Daily Voice news report, it is alleged that Nolukhanyo got a lift from a police officer at Kraaifontein Police Station, the officer was on his way to drop off Nolukhanyo at her home when he was suddenly stopped by a male suspect who pretended to ask for help on Old Paarl Road.

The suspect suddenly withdrew a firearm and fired several shots through the window of the police van and Nolukhanyo was struck on the head, the suspect fled the scene towards an unknown direction.

Nolukhanyo was rushed to a hospital and she was later confirmed deceased, the police officer escaped the scene unharmed.
