The world lost a great leader when King Goodwill Zwelithini Kabhekuzulu passed away earlier this year. Appointed as the eighth monarch of the Zulu nation after his first marriage, he reigned over his people for over five decades. It is impossible to overstate the impact he had on the Zulu nation and all who knew him. As we think of his legacy and what the future holds, it is essential that we take time to appreciate his family, especially his wives and children.

Although there has been much debate about who will replace the king, we must not forget the man himself. His dedication to his nation and his people was unparalleled. He was a man of wisdom and vision who saw the value of investing in his people and their future. His wives and children were an important part of this vision, and we should take time to learn more about them.

The Zulu nation has lost a hero, but we can honor his memory by continuing to learn from his life and from those who knew him best. Whether you are a member of the Zulu community or someone who admires King Zwelithini’s legacy, it is time to come together and celebrate his life and his family.
