Moja Love channel founder Aubrey Tau and presenter Xolani Khumalo have received death threats from drug lords following the exposure of the illegal drug trade in South Africa through their show, Sizok’thola.

The show, which has gained widespread acclaim for its courage in shedding light on this dark underworld, has unfortunately made Tau and Khumalo targets of the criminal elements involved in the drug trade.

Aubrey Tau has been subjected to harassment through phone calls, while Xolani Khumalo has received violent threats. In response to the seriousness of the situation, both men have taken steps to enhance security measures at their residences.

Despite the threats, Tau and Khumalo remain resolute in their mission to expose the drug trade, even if it means risking their own lives. Their determination stems from the desire to give a voice to the victims of the drug trade and raise awareness about the problem plaguing South Africa.

An anonymous source has revealed that the drug lords want the TV show to be terminated, firmly believing that it is causing significant disruptions to their illicit drug operations.

In addition to the threats, there have been reports of a suspicious vehicle observed near Aubrey Tau’s home, heightening concerns for their safety.

These death threats serve as a testament to the extraordinary courage of Tau and Khumalo, who are willing to put their own lives at risk in order to expose the truth and bring justice to those affected by the drug trade.

Moja Love expressed deep concern regarding the threats against Aubrey Tau and Xolani Khumalo. The company emphasized that it would not be intimidated by these acts and vowed to persistently investigate and report on matters that hold immense significance to its viewers.

The management and staff of Moja Love stand in solidarity with Tau and Khumalo, recognizing their unwavering commitment to public service journalism. They are determined to provide a platform for the victims and shed light on the gravity of the drug trade, despite the dangers posed by the criminal elements involved.

The South African public has rallied behind Tau and Khumalo, expressing their support and admiration for their fearless pursuit of truth and justice. Many have taken to social media platforms, using hashtags such as #StandWithMojaLove and #JusticeAgainstDrugTrade to voice their solidarity and condemn the actions of the drug lords.

Government officials and law enforcement agencies have also been alerted to the situation, with calls for increased protection for Tau, Khumalo, and their families. The importance of safeguarding journalists and media personnel who courageously tackle such sensitive issues has been emphasized.

The threats received by Aubrey Tau and Xolani Khumalo serve as a chilling reminder of the risks faced by journalists and media professionals in the pursuit of truth. It underscores the urgent need for society to stand against the criminal elements that seek to silence those who bring crucial issues to light.

Moja Love remains steadfast in its commitment to investigative journalism and vows to continue championing the cause of justice and truth.
