Yesterday (Friday 21 April) the African National Congress (ANC) secretary general Fikile Mbalula hosted a press conference during which he announced that the ANC is going to host a four day
National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Boksburg, and Fikile Mbalula said that the purpose of the four day ANC NEC meeting is to strengthen party-to-party relations with their sister parties.
As you can already expect, a lot of ANC Bigwigs were spotted arriving at the NEC meeting, but former South African President Thabo Mbeki caused a big stir amongst the news reporters after he was spotted arriving at the ANC NEC meeting,
the former South African President was spotted getting out of his car and he quickly started interacting with the news reporters by asking them if they are part of the NEC, President Thabo Mbeki was even heard asking the news reporters if they are interested in joining the ANC but they politely declined his offer.
