Teams are tasked with the responsibility of providing security whenever they are playing at home, they should make sure that everyone who is at the stadium is secured and safe and there are areas at the stadium where access to those areas is restricted, only people with accreditation are allowed to go to those areas, but professional players are also suppose to be allowed to gain access to the VIP section where they will sit and watch the game from, but Mamelodi Sundowns players who were not doing duty on Saturday at the Orlando stadium were denied access into the VIP area.

A video has emerged on social media where Pirates and Sundowns officials were having a go at each other as Masandawana players were denied access to the VIP area, Bucs official could be seen on the video making it clear that these players must not go inside as he block the door, he was backed up by the security official who made sure that they block the door and refuse to allow these players in.

As the misunderstanding continued, one of Pirates officials came and said these players can’t be let in, he even called the police on the Sundowns personnel so that they can come and deal with them.

“Why do you want to go in? No you can’t go in, hey man, please call the cops, there are some of the cops, call them to come and solve this,” Pirates official said while he refuses to allow players into that part of the stadium.

A Sundowns official tried to reason with the Pirates official and explained to him many times that the people behind him are professional players, but still, he never listened.

“Look man, these are professional players, you should let them in,” Sundowns official said as they tried to force their way in.

A few months ago, the same incident happened when Pirates were playing against TS Galaxy, the Rockets Chairman Mr Tim Sikazi was manhandled and refused access to the VIP area, he even tried to force his way in and he was denied despite being in possession of an all access accreditation.

Yesterday they said Sundowns are violent….kahle kahle kwenzakalani eOrlando Stadium?
