Looting has become a common phrase in South Africa; this is because so much looting takes place in the country almost every year. One could argue that looting is a result of many things, mainly poverty. People loot food and clothing from shops because they are in desperate need for them, but there have been cases where individuals were seen looting alcohol from trucks that deliver alcohol, and some were also seen looting furniture during protests. Some of the looting that takes place could be a result of greed, with people who already have enough wanting more.

Many of the cases of looting taking place are always from trucks. Many of the trucks in the country that work to transport food or beverages encounter problems on the road and tend to stop. Sometimes they find themselves stuck in nearby areas where people will go loot whatever is in the truck. This has almost become a common situation in the country, and it is quite concerning.

Another case of looting has taken place; a video was shared of a man who drove to an area that seems like a farm where his truck got stuck. And when he arrived there, he found a number of people who were looting his meat, which seems like it was on its way to being delivered somewhere or to supermarkets. Many of the people were seen dragging big chunks of meat into their cars, and some of them were so heavy that they could not even pick them up; they were dragging them through the sand into their cars.

The white man in the video sounded very heartbroken and told some of the people they were stealing his meat from his truck and they must continue. He also took some of the number plates of the cars that were packing the looted meat in the booth.

WATCH: This Doctors Without Borders employee will have a lot of explaining to do after this video of looting meat from a broken delivery truck. Surely, he is not aware of what happened to one Mbuso Moloi who looted while driving an expensive Mercedes Benz. pic.twitter.com/clPnCVsa3n
