Everything seems to be a joke in South Africa; they even make jokes out of the most sensitive things. A few days ago there was a trending video of someone making a joke about a tanker exploding. He was driving next to a tanker and started taking videos that it was about to explode. This came after a shocking incident at Boksburg where a tanker killed over 34 people. It seems like people don’t know where to use their sense of humor.
Speaking of that, there is a new trending challenge called the Babes Wodumo Challenge that is trending all over social media. A few days ago, Babes Wodumo was spotted dancing at her husband’s memorial service. Her dance moves were very unique, and people were shocked to see a person body dancing at her husband’s memorial service. Now that the funeral has passed, people are making fun of Babe’s wodumo dance moves.
People are imitating her dance moves, all over Twitter and tik-tok, and making fun of the way she dressed and her dance moves. You will be surprised to see the effort that people put into creating content; they even dress like her just to take a video. South Africans were left feeling defeated after these trending videos; some even said South Africans don’t deserve the internet.
Babes Wodumo hasn’t responded to this challenge, but surely she will be offended. Death is something that you don’t make fun of because it brings bad omens. Yes, she was dancing, but it wasn’t fun at all. She was trying to honor her husband’s life, but now it has turned into a joke. Some people are reacting very angrily to these videos. They claim that it’s too early to be putting Babes Wodumo through this since she has just lost a husband. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
South African do not deserve the internet, period 😭😭😱😱
