Over the last few years, we have seen a rise in the number of football stars who goes to the world of business as a way of dealing with life after their playing days are over, as current players like Willard Katsande, Bernard Parker, Itumeleng Khune, and George Lebese are some of the players that have taken into the world of business before calling time on their respective careers.
Of the name mentioned above Lebese is the only one who is currently clubless and has been clubless for more than two seasons now after covid-19 forced him to terminate his contract with his former United States of America club, Minnesota Switchbacks Football Club, and has since found it hard to find a team to play for.
His difficulties to find a team seems to have worked in his favour, as the former Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, Supersport United Football Club, and Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club attacker have found time to work on his businesses with his wife, Melba Nkosi, and they are currently flourishing.
The couple owns a successful clothing brand called Assets and also owns a successful nightclub come restaurant called The Prestige Lifestyle Grand which is based in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, and they are also on the verge to open another nightclub come restaurant in Gauteng.
The Seventeen Lifestyle which is based in Pretoria, Gauteng, 47 Robert Sobukwe St, Sunnyside will have a grand opening on Saturday, the 14th of May 2022, and is set to be a day to remember for Lebese and his wife.
