Pitso Mosimane is urging Mamelodi Sundowns supporters to rally behind Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
Amakhosi are set to face the Mighty Buccaneers in what promises to be a thrill-a-minute encounter at FNB Stadium.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys have already beaten the Sea Robbers in both the league and Telkom Knockout this season, meaning there is some extra motivation on the side of black and white.
Mosimane has since expressed his wish for Pirates to beat the league leaders to keep the league exciting.
“Obviously if you want the league to be exciting, you don’t wish them [Kaizer Chiefs] to win on Saturday,” said Mosimane.
“When we played [Bloemfontein] Celtic, did you see the Chiefs fans at Loftus? They came in numbers [to support Celtic]. When we played Chippa [United], they came in big numbers.
“Probably Masandawana must go and join the Buccaneers there [at Soccer City].”
