Police are investigating the death of a couple on Durban’s beachfront.
Two bodies were discovered by a passer-by who was collecting pieces of scrap paper and bottles.
The murders have raised safety concerns at the busiest time for the city’s beaches.
Police have launched a search for the suspects.

Fathima Muhammad, (50), of Chatsworth and Kresen Chandiah, (24), were discovered by a passer-by who was collecting pieces of scrap paper and bottles.
Muhammad, a mother of three children, was last seen Monday on her way to Suncoast for lunch.
Chandiah’s family says that he worked as a tiler.

Kresen Chandiah is the man who was found dead at the beach. His family says he was 24-years-old, and worked as a tiler. They say they did not know Fathima Muhammad, the 50-year-old woman who’d been stabbed beside him. #DBNBeachMurders pic.twitter.com/474RXkCNlx
