A 27-year-old nurse was shot and killed outside a clinic in Oakford, Verulam on Wednesday morning.
According to Prem Balram from Reaction Unit SA, their operations centre received a call from a member of public reporting a woman lying in her vehicle at the entrance of the Oakford clinic.

“At approximately 7.13am the Reaction Unit SA Verulam operations centre received a call from a member of public reporting a woman lying in her vehicle at the entrance of the Oakford clinic,” said Reaction Unit’s Prem Balram.
Reaction Unit said that the woman had suffered gunshot wounds to her head and hand.
Police spokesperson Lt-Col Thulani Zwane said police were on the scene investigating the incident.
